Web Update 4.72 of ProgressionLIVE

Web 4.72 Update soon deployed on your account

A new web version of ProgressionLIVE will be released soon!

This Web 4.72 Update  is mainly about standardization of field labels on the login page and previewing an email template before sending it. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web 4.72 Update

This update will be deployed starting May 26, 2019.

Standardization of field labels on the login page

In order to facilitate the login process between our different platforms, we have standardized the field labels of the login page.

Thus, on the web interface, we changed the label of the field “E-mail” for “User,” since it is possible to log in with an email or phone number.

In addition, we changed the label of the login button from “Submit” to “Log in.”

Then, the “User” and “Password” tags are now inside their respective fields as placeholders.

In short, the labels of fields and the button on the login pages (Web, iOS, Android) are now identical.

Previewing an email template before sending it

In our latest Web 4.71 Update, we introduced a first phase of our new feature allowing the creation of email templates. Thus, we are now deploying our second phase to previewing an email template before sending it to the recipient…

Preview when creating

In the email template creation window, we added a preview icon. This icon, located in the upper right corner of the message window, allows you to view the email template based on a task number.

So, when you click this icon, you must enter a task code in the “Code” field and click on the “Preview” button. For example, by choosing the AS000044 task, ProgressionLIVE will generate a preview of the email template with the dynamic properties of the task, if any.

Preview before sending to the recipient

In a task, it is also possible to preview an email when clicking on the button “Send by email.” Indeed, it allows you to see the content of the email before sending it to your customer. You can modify it according to the specific needs of the customer or task.

Web Update 4.70 of ProgressionLIVE

New Web Update 4.70 of ProgressionLIVE

New version of our web platform of ProgressionLIVE !

This Web Update 4.70 is mainly about adding a data loss alert if a task is already dispatched. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web Update 4.70

This update will be deployed starting March 24, 2019.

Data loss alert if the task is already dispatched

Have you ever modified a task when it was already dispatched to your employee on the road? If so, your changes may not have been synced to your employee’s mobile device. They may have even been crushed by the latter, because of the priority of mobiles in such a context.

That’s why we have added a warning at the top of each task when the task’s state is between states 200 and 600 (exclusively). State 200 means that the task is dispatched and state 600 means that the task is completed. In summary, this warning disappears when the task is progressed to state 600.

In short, the warning will be as follows: “Warning! This task is currently dispatched, changes will not be automatically synchronized and may be overwritten by (Human Resource).”

Indeed, if a modification to a task is performed while it is already dispatched, but not completed, the data entered on the web interface will not synchronize automatically on the mobile device of the associated human resource. In addition, the latter could overwrite this information by modifying the task directly on his mobile.

However, it is important to know that this information banner only serves to notify the dispatcher or administrator that the task is already dispatched. Thus, it will still be possible to make changes to the task, but the risk of data loss will be present.

Disabling associated recurrences if a client or location is disabled

Depending on the configuration of your account (by your project manager), it will now be possible to disable the recurrences associated with a client or a location at its deactivation.

Thus, by agreeing to update the recurrence or recurrences associated with a client or a location to its deactivation, this causes the change of the end date of the recurrence for the current date.

However, each ProgressionLIVE account has three (3) possible configurations for this new feature. Indeed, your project manager can set the Ask, Auto or Never configuration.

  • Ask: ProgressionLIVE will always ask you if you want to disable the associated recurrence (s).
  • Auto: ProgressionLIVE will automatically disable the associated recurrence (s). Also applicable to import or sync with your accounting system.
  • Never: Will not ask you if you want to disable them and will not disable them automatically. They will remain active unless you manually disable them.

Please note that the associated recurrences will not be automatically reactivated when the client or location is reactivated. You will have to reactivate them manually. You must contact your project manager or technical support to modify this configuration.

New Web Update 4.69 of ProgressionLIVE

New version of our web platform of ProgressionLIVE !

This Web Update 4.69 is mainly about adding a popup window to a task in case of a problem with a client. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web Update 4.69

This update will be deployed starting February 25, 2019.

Popup window in a task in case of a problem with a client

This feature was in great demand during our recent poll on your Top 10 most requested features. Thus, we proceeded to its development in the last weeks and it will be deployed during the next week.

Indeed, before today, ProgressionLIVE didn’t allow to manage the clients during the creation of a task. For example, it didn’t allow to warn when the client chosen in a task has any particularity.

So we added the possibility to add a comment in the client (e.g.: in case of bad credit, don’t send such human resource, etc.), which would be displayed when a task was created for this client.

Here is how to add such a comment:

1- Add a note to a client’s file

2- Check the Show Note box

3- Create a task and add this client

You will then see a popup window like this with the note.

Adding a Create Task button in an Equipment file

We have already added a new button in an equipment file. The latter now makes it possible to create a task within the visualization of equipment.

New Web Update 4.66 of ProgressionLIVE

New version of our web platform of ProgressionLIVE !

This Web Update 4.66 is mainly about highlighting tasks that match the result of a filter in Planning mode. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web Update 4.66

This update will be deployed starting November 5th, 2018.

Highlighting tasks that match the result of a filter (Planning Mode)

First, we added two buttons to Planning mode. The first “Filter Tasks” allows you to filter scheduled tasks according to several criteria. The second “Highlight mode” is used to hide or display (with opacity) jobs that do not match the applied filter.

For example, let’s apply a filter where only “Service Call” type jobs should be displayed. For example, by clicking Filter Tasks , and then New, this window appears.

Then, when you click Apply, the non-service calls are removed from Planning mode.

However, it is possible to make them appear on the screen with the Highlight mode button. The tasks in question will therefore be displayed with reduced opacity, which allows efficient planning.

Changing the method for searching by code (List Mode)

In order to improve search performance by code in list mode, the content of the Code(s) field in a filter will now be interpreted differently. Indeed, the result of a search by code in this mode will only display one task at a time (if no comma is inserted in the field). Thus, if the field contains only numbers, the search will be done only on the ID of the task. However, if the field contains letters, the search will be done on the exact code of the task.

For example, if I search for the task AS000102 here are the scenarios:

The AS000102 task will be displayed

The AS000102 task will NOT be displayed

New Web Update 4.65 of ProgressionLIVE

New version of our web platform of ProgressionLIVE !

This Web Update 4.65 is mainly about adding a new live chat system. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web Update 4.65

This update will be deployed starting October 1st, 2018.

New Live Chat System

We made several changes to our “Help” menu. Among other things, we have changed the icon of this menu to better represent what you can do. In addition, the “Live Chat Support” sub-menu’s icon has been changed. Then, we modified the “FAQ” submenu for “Documentation”, while changing its icon too. Then we added an icon to the submenu “Open a ticket”.

However, among all these changes, it is the chat that has undergone the greatest transformation. Indeed, our ticket management tool has developed a new chat application, Freshchat. So we integrated Freshchat into ProgressionLIVE. To bring up this new application, simply click on the sub-menu “Live Chat Support”. Thus, a button will appear, followed by a chat window with technical support.

Thanks to Freshchat, communication with our agents is improved. Indeed, you have access to new features:

– Attaching attachments (images, screenshots) bidirectional

– Support for various emoticons

– Frequently asked questions directly in the Freshchat app.

You will also have access to this new application on our website and you will not even need to login, because we will have all this information at the opening of Freshchat!

Reminder: Our agents are available from Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 7 pm and Friday from 7 am to 5 pm (EST).

Search for tasks without labels

You now have the option to search and / or filter tasks that have no labels.

New Web Update 4.63 of ProgressionLIVE

New version of our web platform of ProgressionLIVE !

This Web Update 4.63 is mainly about adding option buttons to the Linked Tasks module. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web Update 4.63

This update will be deployed starting June 11, 2018.

Adding the Link to a Task and Unlink Task(s) options

Since the launch of our Linked Tasks module, we have received many suggestions from our users. Better known as Sub-Tasks or Parent-Kids, this module allows you to associate tasks with a main task. Among the suggestions received, the request for a function to link or untie one or more tasks with a single click was the one that was most requested. Thus, if this module is activated in your account, you will see two new buttons: Link to a task and Unlink task(s). Indeed, to link one task to another, just open a “no parent” task, click on the Link to a task button and enter the main task. It is also possible to right-click on a task in List view and click Link to a task in the context menu. Then, the same principle applies to untying one or more tasks, besides the fact that one must select a task already linked to a main task and click on Unlink Task(s).

If the Linked Tasks module is not enabled in your account, please contact Technical Support.

Change the order of the buttons in Manage

We noticed that some buttons were used more by our users than others in the Mange menu. For example, the Product, Price Lists, and Product Categories buttons have been moved up in the left window. In fact, the Products button will now appear under Equipments, the Price Lists button under Products and the Product Category button under Price List. In short, by default, the new order is: Clients, Locations, Contacts, Users, Human Resources, Products, Price Lists, Product Category, and so on.

Saved state change

As users of the ProgressionLIVE web interface, some wanted it to be possible to change the state of a task to save without having to confirm with the Change State button. Thus, we modified the procedure to allow the saving of a change of state to the backup of the task. In short, a confirmation Change the status of the task to [selected status]? will now be displayed when the Change State button has not been clicked due to a state change and a user is saving the job.

Adding a link to Zoom.us

Like the link to ScreenConnect used by our project managers and support agents, a link to the webmeeting platform we use was very useful for facilitating communication. Thus, we added a link to the Zoom.us platform to join a webmeeting with one of our experts. Once the code provided by one of our project managers or technical support agents, just click on Zoom and join the webmeeting.

New Web Update 4.60 of ProgressionLIVE

New version of our web platform of ProgressionLIVE !

This Web Update 4.60 is mainly about adding the parent / child task module. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web Update 4.60

Parent/child task module

At the request of a majority of our customers, we introduce a new parent/child task feature, where it is possible to create subtasks to a main task. This feature allows dispatchers to deploy a task over several days. Thus, it allows to assign subtasks to diffrent appointments and human resources. Indeed, if the user has the right to create a task, he can create a particular sub-task from the Tasks module; List mode and Planning mode. Among the options of this feature, it is possible to view the parent task from its child tasks; to display the subtasks of a main task in the same window; to navigate from one subtask to another; to edit appointment times and human resources for child tasks in a single window; and more.

Creating a subtask

First create a task from any Create task button and save the task. Then open the task by clicking on its Code. Then, click Create subtask.

Main Column and Parent Icon

Note in the following screenshot the addition of the new Main column which displays the code of the parent task, if any. In addition, the icon     shows that a result is a parent task. Subtasks can be displayed by clicking on this icon.

To enable this new feature, please contact Technical Support.

New Web Update 4.59 of ProgressionLIVE

New version of our web platform of ProgressionLIVE !

This Web Update 4.59 is mainly about the adding upload batch attachments. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.

Web Update 4.59

Downloading batch attachments

Attachment downloading can be a tedious process. Especially when there are several files to transfer in a task on ProgressionLIVE. So, under the suggestion of some customers, we have inserted a feature into our classic version. Indeed, this function allows the download of several attachments at once. In short, this will speed up the processing time of adding attachments in tasks. Which will increase your productivity.

Changes to the labels of an item
Before this update, ProgressionLVIE users saw the description of an item act as the product name on an invoice. In facts, the name and the description of the items should correspond respectively to the name and description of the products. So, we changed the label “Description” of an item to “Name”. In addition, we added a “Description” field. In short, this new feature of ProgressionLIVE reduces confusion in drafting and interpreting invoices.

Show/hide fields
Some users requested that it be possible to hide or display certain fields depending on the type of task. Thus, it is now possible to change your account settings to enable this feature. We invite you to contact ProgressionLIVE Technical Support to help you configure this feature. Indeed, it would be possible to select the fields to display or deselect the fields to hide. In short, the fields that will be able to determine the display in the web version are “Priority”, “Summary”, “Description”, “Group”, “Label” and “Secondary Labels”. This feature can allow you to purge or enrich your task list.

Bug fixes

Fixed two bugs for endless time entries during billing and extensions that run despite a later start date.
